ABOUT US

In November of 2019, our family became part of the statistic, discovering that our son, Nikolas, had stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This news turned our world upside down.

Everything seemed to both stop and accelerate. The holidays were upon us but all we could think about was saving Nik. After an enormous number of prayers and an amazing emotional and medical team, Nik is cancer-free as of June 2, 2020. His fight to remain healthy continues everyday.

Now that the imminent crisis for us has calmed, our family has the opportunity to consider, in our gratitude, how to help others dealing with this awful disease. We want to pay FORWARD help to those who are going through this ordeal and let families know that they are not alone.

Going through this journey made many things clear for us. Our primary role was to allow Nik to focus on getting healthy. We didn’t want him to be burdened with the thoughts of his comfort, meals, transportation or the incidental financial obligations that naturally come with “unexpected” changes in his world.

We are currently working at creating a charitable organization that helps patients and their families with some of these “incidental” financial needs. FORWARD 24/7 is a 501C3 corporation, which we established to provide cancer patients and their families with items such as gas cards, hospital parking fees, groceries/meals, and medical cannabis.

Our purpose is clear…we want to provide support through “simple acts of kindness” to allow the victims of cancer to move FORWARD 24 hours and day, 7 days a week.

Today, we reach out to you and ask if there is a willingness to join our effort in being able to offer these “simple acts”. We are looking for support both financially and to share our purpose through word of mouth. We want to be able to work with other organizations that share our desire to let cancer victims know that they are not alone in their fight.

Please consider helping and sharing in our hope.
